Make Money Doing Surveys - 2 Simple Ways to Increase Earnings

Whether you're new to paid surveys or not, we all know they are a lucrative way to earn quick cash online. No, you won't get rich overnight, but you will earn some decent income each and every month. If you're looking for a way to get rich, you're in the wrong place.

The possibilities with paid surveys are endless. I make money doing surveys each and every month. And when I say money, I mean it. On average, I pull in around $800 every month. Those earnings aren't exaggerated. And while I probably do more surveys than the average guy out there, I'm just showing you that earning this extra money is easy stuff.

So, with that being said, what's a good way to maximize your earnings? I've got two specific ways I've used to make sure I get the most from paid surveys each and every month.

- Sign up with as many sites as possible. Why? It's better to get tons of little checks from several companies than one decent check from one. Not all paid research sites will send you tons of surveys. Some send you a couple each month, while others send out tons. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

- Join a paid survey bank. These are websites that have a large database of paid research companies, all on one site, available for you to see. This way, you know what sites you can sign up with and what ones you cannot (as some sites do have certain requirements for members, i.e. men only, women only, certain countries, etc.)

If you want to know where to find the best paid survey sites, check out Paid Survey Reviews

There, you will be able to learn all about what paid survey sites are the best, what sites to stay away from, and how you can earn big money each week with paid surveys!

Selling your affiliate links may prove to be tricky nowadays, what with many points on the net despising - if not entirely banning- the redistribution of the said links on their websites. There are many kinds of websites you can create for this intention, but no one will ever match up to the sheer adaptability, intrinsic influence, and fantastic scope of a blog.

The expression "blog" has grow to be an everyday word for net residents, which rooted from "internet chronicles." Blogs were created to be online journals where members can post about the occurrences of their days as well as their outlooks for all of the internet to witness.

- Blogs make content advertising very , very simple. Uploading additional substances can be accomplished with just one hit. As such, most bloggers update their content more than once daily. And we all know that search engines like fresh content and frequently updated web pages, correct? This is the explanation why blogs rule the first few websites of relevant search engine results pages.

- Blogs provide a more special feel for guests. This is because blogs are connected with the bloggers that maintain them. Every time current items are put, guests realize that the blogger himself is relating to them. For advertising intentions, such a characteristic of a blog makes elevated trust advertising very effortless to make.

Blogging Is Your Best Marketing Tool

Blogging isn't hard.

People see it as a massive investment of time but it's not really. If you're willing to invest time in a networking meeting then you can invest time in a blog because it's essentially the same thing. Presumably you go along to a networking meeting to meet people and let them know what a fab person you are? Because if they like you then they'll trust you and if they trust you then they'll buy from you, right?

Right. So you talk about your business a bit, perhaps take the opportunity to discuss a new product you're working on and share some funny anecdotes about something or other. Then leave the room with everyone thinking that you're a great person and fun to spend some time with. Mission accomplished.

Blogging for your business is pretty much the same except that the other person doesn't interrupt and you have more time to think up clever and witty things to impress people with. With your blog, you get a chance to put a human face to your business. You only have a few paragraphs on your core website to explain your business but with your blog you have months of posts for people to dip into to get a feel for your company.

What a great opportunity to earn the trust of people you've never even met. They come to your website and there's this great person writing really interesting stuff and sharing insights into this subject that he's a real expert on. Perhaps they'll come back each day or subscribe to your feed to see what you have to say. And if at some point they need to buy whatever you're selling then they're definitely going to come to you instead of your competitor - that really cold faceless business run by robots.

Still not convinced?

Don't be mistaken into thinking that it's not worthwhile if you don't have hundred of avid readers of your blog. If you keep all of your posts on your website then random browsers to your website will have a wealth of information to jump into. You're building their trust using stuff that you've written months ago.

And if they like what they see then they'll come back. And visitors that come back turn into customers eventually. And customers generate repeat business. And referrals. Surely it's starting to make sense now?

No? OK, one last shot.

You're generating a new page for your website every single time you post something. Who likes websites with lots of relevant content that gets updated frequently? Go on, take a guess...

Google will love you if you start blogging. If you write interesting stuff then people will link to it and Google will love you even more. Suddenly your website is more popular than ever and more people are visiting and more people are buying and it's just turning into one great big party with you at the centre of it.

OK, perhaps it won't be quite that dramatic but you must take the long term view when it comes to your approach to blogging. Don't write a couple of entries and then give up. Keep at it, keep producing new content and invest time in it as you would any other marketing activity. When it does all kick off then you'll be glad that you have that wealth of information sitting there for your website visitors to delve into.

Good luck - let me know how you get on and I'll add a comment to your blog!

Home Based Business: Blogging Is A Great Business Idea

If you are looking to start a home based business or perhaps for another angle to branch out your own existing small business then you should really consider blogging. Blogging is a great business idea. Before you dismiss the idea consider these five ways that you can profit from a blog.

The simplest method you can profit from a blog is simply to add some pay-per-click or pay-per-lead program advertising on your blog. This way you can blog to your heart's content about the topic or topics that interest you and earn money from your visitors without any extra work.

If you have products from your existing business or have plans to create your own products--anything from traditional goods and services to ebooks and other electronic products--then a blog is a great way to promote your product and yourself by establishing your expertise in this area.

Even if you do not have your own product, you can easily use a blog to promote affiliate products to and programs that are related to the topic or topics you blog about.

You can also use a blog to capture leads for an affiliate program or for your own programs, ezines, newsletters, or other information products.

Finally, you can also sell advertising space in the form of banners, textual advertising, or text links on your blog. The higher your readership then the more money you can charge.

This is not a new or unique method for internet entrepreneurs to make money on the web. It has been around almost as long as blogging, but that does not mean you cannot start your own internet blog business and quickly begin making money. Remember, if you can write (not professionally but rather comfortably) then you can still acquire articles and blog entries in a number of free or paid formats so you can get started very quickly and very cheaply.

Blogging is a great business idea for a home based business or a small business. You can use any of these five suggestions, in any combination, to profit from your blog.

Japanese "Kaizen" Principles for Blogging

In the world of Japanese management style, Kaizen means change for the better or improvement. Kaizen refers to the workplace strategy calls for never-ending efforts for improvement involving everyone in the organization managers and workers alike. Generally, a Japanese management Kaizen team has two major components - maintenance and improvement. Each component has its specific functions. The maintenance function is to maintain current technological, managerial, and operating standards while the improvement function is aimed at improving current standards. These same principles can be applied to blogging. Here are ways you can apply Kaizen principles to blogging.

Lets analyze Kaizen for blogging in terms of the Management and Improvement functions.

1. Management

For Kaizen, normally you should concentrate at improving the process rather than at achieving certain results. It is also a process that, when done correctly, it helps to eliminate overly hard work (both mental and physical), and teaches people on how to learn to spot and eliminate wasteful processes. A good blogger should possess the following management skills:

  • Time Management

  • Time management helps you to work on the most worthy tasks and to get through them quickly. Time management is not some obscure notion but an important blogging strategy that can be followed to gather a huge amount of success. Many bloggers have failed because they are inefficient and time management can increase that efficiently. Knowing how to manage your time effectively will help you achieve the goals you want with the least amount of effort.
  • Maximize Blogging Effectiveness

  • Every blogger puts a lot of effort in creating a blog and then posting content regularly but then its even more important that the content is read by many people.
  • Keywords

  • Always try to build an understanding of the keywords used in your blog. You should also understand how your blogs unique characteristics and how your blog can fit in with the current concerns of your audience. This understanding will help you to develop content and also target conversations.

    2. Improvement

Under the improvement function, a blogger should work continuously towards revising the current standards, once they have been mastered, and establishing higher ones. Improvement can be broken down between innovation and Kaizen. Innovation involves a drastic improvement in the existing process and requires large investments. Kaizen signifies small improvements as a result of coordinated continuous efforts. Areas that require constant improvement for a blog are:

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via search results. A blog that is ranked higher in a search engine result page, will have more searchers visit the blog. A good blogger should always pay attention to the latest SEO techniques in order to fully optimize ones blog for search engines. A high search engine ranking is also essential for better blog revenues.

  • Writing Skills
  • Blogging is about writing. In order for you to publicize your blog content, you should always strive to improve your writing skills. While most people think of writers as infinitely talented, living in some rarified air denied to the rest of us, writing is a learned skill. While some people are indeed born more talented with the written word than others, most people can become better writers simply through practice. Blogging is as good a practice field as any.

  • Internet Marketing
  • Your blog does not serve a good function if it is not marketed properly. Without the proper marketing, you may end up having limited number of readers. You should learn some basic marketing tips for your blog. Some of the basic marketing techniques are like joining a blog network e.g., mybloglog, 9rules etc, submit your blog to directories, have a contest, create links and trackbacks and many more.

True to the principle of Kaizen, you should always strive for small improvements for your blog. A continual small improvements and standardization yields large results in a form of compound productivity improvement.

Blogging for SEO, Robots and Human Readers

Naturally we have all been raised to write for the human reader. I doubt many parents raise their children remarking, "Now Johnny, be sure to practice writing so the robot can read your story!" As crazy as it sounds, bloggers are faced with the task to not only write for humans, but for robots too!

Have you written your blog posts for humans only, or do you also aim to please the robots appetite for the latest scoop? Although it may be your specialty, robots are not looking to read the latest gossip, but they are looking to read strong keywords and key phrases. To please the robots be sure to toss the robots some keyword biscuits and key phrase sandwiches so you will be handsomely rewarded! For good seo, (search engine optimization) the primary keywords are those found in your blog post titles. Your blog post titles have the greatest impact for bringing in organic traffic from the search engines.

Blogging with robots in mind is not the easiest task for bloggers because it means we have to write in a manner that may seem awkward as we create the content. If the content was not carefully crafted it may result in feeling a repetitious flow of specific keywords when the human reader takes a gander at your blog posts. If you were in an English class and submitted a story written in a manner to find favor from a robot, the teacher would probably give you bad marks for being too repetitious with certain words. One rare exception would be if your teacher is a robot!

When it comes to search engines and robots, proper keyword selection, placement and repetition are helpful in order to establish your main keywords and key phrases for your blog. For most, that is not second nature, but instead a learned process in blogging. Bloggers must find a happy medium between writing for the human reader, and writing for the robots. Ultimately you may prefer to write for the human reader first, and the robots second. If that is the case and you are the human reading this article, be sure to tell the robots to get behind you in line!

Did I write for the robot here? Hmm, I better throw the robot some keyword biscuits to lure him in to get my keyword higher up in the search results. So please have a blogging, blogging, blogging, good time!
